On November 1st, an official launch event was held to celebrate DiverseCity onBoard’s journey and milestones, the launch of our next chapter and new name, onBoard Canada. Guest speakers included Citizenship Judge and onBoard Canada alumni Rochelle Ivri, Senator Ratna Omidvar, Bailey Greenspon, Senior Program Manager, (G)irls20, and Dr. Marie Bountrogianni, Dean of The Chang School, the home of onBoard Canada. These champions of inclusive leadership shared insights on their personal leadership journeys, the importance of civic engagement, how Girls on Boards is creating new governance pathways for young women, and what's in store for onBoard Canada.
